Birds of Fire – The Call

“I saw a lonely woman in a luxurious apartment. She was battling some kind of demons. Beautiful, perfectly styled, as if she was about to step into a limousine and be driven to a private party in Hollywood Hills.”

The first photograph from this new series, The Call, embodies a theme that I've always been drawn to — a lonely woman, fighting herself and the demons she cannot control. Trapped in a golden cage of her own making, unable to escape. She keeps telling herself this is how the world is supposed to be, but deep down, she knows this won’t last much longer. Her bittersweet smile — hopeful yet desperate — suggests that something deeply unsettling is about to happen.

Birds of Fire – The Gift

“This thing's gonna kill us, sweetheart. I wanna watch.”

Birds of Fire – The Gift is the second photograph in a series of five scenes. We return to a familiar setting, but the atmosphere has completely shifted. This time, we’re also introduced to a new character — the mysterious Cowboy. Most likely the person the woman was speaking to in the previous scene. But what does he bring? Is it really a gift, or a tool for revenge?

Scene #3 is coming soon.
