The Waste Collection series highlights Thailand's garbage pollution and evokes despair at the thought of doing something about it as an individual, which leads to feelings of isolation and loneliness. What else needs to happen for people to notice they have a problem? The series was awarded in the International Photography Awards 2019 and the Tokyo International Foto Awards 2019.

Which size to choose?
Which size to choose?
My photographs are usually offered in four sizes, either as a stand-alone prints or framed. Sizes correspond to papers A4–A1. The smallest A4 is produced only as a print without frame. This is more of a small collector's format for archiving and I do not recommend placing it on the wall. For wall display along with other artwork, I recommend choosing A3 or A2 sizes. If the photograph is to stand alone and dominate the wall, choose the A1 size.

"I've known Tomas Vrana as a person and a visual artist for many years. His unique humor and sense of irony, so characteristic of his work, have always fascinated me. The same goes for his precise craftsmanship, which is characterised by perfection down to the last detail. It's no surprise that I have several of his pieces at home."

"For me, art isn’t about whether it matches my couch — it’s about whether it makes me feel something. Every piece has to spark an emotion: love, envy, fear, curiosity, or anything in between. That’s what makes a piece of artwork truly great. I’ve been a fan of Tomas Vrana’s photography for some time now, and one of his pieces caught my eye long ago. I finally have it in my home, and it’s every bit as powerful as I’d hoped."

"Tomas Vrana is known for creating work that is warm, bright, playfully absurd, subtly opulent, and a touch surreal — a celebration of the exaggerated human condition and the unique traits that make the photographs unforgettable."
